At our world class facility in Elphinstone, Tranent (close to Edinburgh), our Archive Department currently has an exciting career opportunity for an Assistant Archive Associate on a 12 month fixed term contract. Due to our continued growth and success, we can offer rewarding opportunities in a research environment. Working as an Assistant Archive Associate, you will assist the Archivist in ensuring the correct operation of the Company Archives, which receives and manages a variety of data. Specifically, you will assist with receipt, storage, retrieval, retention, scheduling and final disposition of data and samples. This position would suit a meticulous individual, preferably who enjoys working within organised and well-established procedures and should be neat and methodical in their approach to work.

- Experience of working within a team environment
- Experience of computerised data entry, data management, and word processing
- Experience in an archiving environment would be desirable
