Job Summary

We are seeking a Cage Washer for our Safety Assessment site located in Shrewsbury, MA to be responsible for sanitization, inspection, and verification of equipment throughout the facility. Daily responsibilities include delivering cages to hallways, preparing rodent caging with bedding, loading and unloading rack washer, spraying down dirty caging, and safety checks of machinery. Assist in maintaining inventory of cage wash, animal care and laboratory supplies for assigned area.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Clean and maintain all cages, automatic water lines, and other related equipment
  • Assist with inventory of cage wash and laboratory supplies for assigned area
  • Perform and document in the appropriate log the functions performed
  • Perform all other duties assigned.

The pay range for this position is $20/hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.)
  • Experience: None.
  • Certification/Licensure: None.
