Job Summary

We are seeking Technician Level I candidates for a laboratory-based role at our Safety Assessment site located in Tranent, East Lothian.

Contract options include fixed‑term and permanent positions.

The role requires no prior experience; comprehensive training will be provided.

You will primarily perform pathology laboratory procedures within a team focused on pathological tissue analysis to support drug development.

Responsibilities include

  • Carrying out pathology laboratory procedures requiring niche technical skill and knowledge.
  • Collecting and preparing samples before and after fixation.
  • Executing procedures as required by Study Protocol and SOP within routine laboratory studies.

Minimum qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 standard grades or equivalent.
