We are looking for an Assistant Inventory/Equipment Coordinator to join our Operational Support team based at our Safety Assessment site in Tranent.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the logistics, maintenance (working with external contractors), distribution and calibration of a wide variety of equipment and instruments.
  • Work with senior management and other departments to identify new equipment or solutions.
  • Provide administrative support and maintain up to date documentation relating to the equipment under their care.
  • Ensure daily consumables for all sub-departments are fully stocked and available for use at all times.
Desired Qualifications
  • Candidates should ideally have a minimum of standard grades or equivalent in Maths, English and a Science.
  • Previous experience of working within a regulated environment (GLP/GMP) would be a distinct advantage.
  • Previous experience using electronic systems and databases.
  • Candidates should be organised, proactive, customer focused and have the ability to problem solve and adapt.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Have an organised and logical approach/mind-set.

Starting salary for this role is £25,352.56 per annum.
