Job Summary
Our manufacturing site in Keele is offering an opportunity for an upstream Biologics Manufacturing Operator. Responsible for executing assigned work for the development, transfer, or cGMP manufacture of processes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Participating in multidisciplinary teams for assigned work, ensuring timely execution according to schedules, and meeting operational, quality, and health & safety targets.
- Executing and completing assigned programmes of work both in-house and contractually.
- Recording data and communicating results verbally and in writing.
- Performing operations and procedures after appropriate training, maintaining training records.
- Maintaining the 5S system of facility management.
- Ensuring documentation is completed timely and to high standards.
- Working within all areas of the Operations Group as part of multidisciplinary teams.
- Performing manufacturing operations in compliance with cGMP standards.
- Considering cGMP needs when developing processes.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum HNC/HND in a science subject or Degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Biochemical Engineering.
- Previous practical laboratory experience is desirable.
- Strong written, verbal communication, and practical skills.
- Self-starter, showing initiative, team player.
- Flexible working capability.
