A fast-growing organisation in the UK media and advertising space is looking for a commercially minded Research & Data Analyst to join a small, collaborative and insight-driven team. You’ll help shape how agencies, brands and industry decision-makers understand the performance and potential of modern audio and multi-platform media.
What You’ll Do
- You’ll work closely with senior insight and planning leads, transforming complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives that inspire both internal and external audiences.
- Dashboard & reporting development — Build and maintain Power BI/Tableau dashboards to track trends across revenue, spend, audience and listening datasets.
- Insight creation — Turn data into stories that highlight opportunities for advertisers and shape strategic thinking.
- Cross-team collaboration — Work with non-technical colleagues to understand reporting needs and make data accessible across the organisation.
- Market monitoring — Track wider media and advertising news to identify reactive and proactive content opportunities.
- External content development — Support the creation of high-profile insight outputs, including quarterly market updates.
- Ad-hoc analysis — Respond to internal and external insight requests with clarity and speed.
- Strategic research — Contribute to new research projects that shape industry understanding of media consumption and advertising effectiveness.
Requirements
- 2+ years in a media, advertising or audience insight role
- Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar
- Ability to translate data into engaging visual and written narratives
- A curious, commercially aware mindset with a passion for media, audio and audience behaviour
