We are supporting a well-capitalised energy trading business that has recently expanded its activities with the launch of a dedicated proprietary trading desk in London. Backed by an established commercial energy platform and a strong client portfolio across large industrial and commercial consumers, the desk offers a stable environment with the agility and freedom typically associated with specialist trading houses. The intraday desk currently consists of three highly experienced traders (10+ years’ experience each) and operates with a collaborative, non-hierarchical structure focused on performance, idea generation, and disciplined risk taking.
This is an opportunity for an Intraday Power Trader to take ownership of proprietary strategies within European power markets, with the autonomy to trade market opportunities across the full 24-hour cycle (without shift requirements).
