We’re supporting one of Europe’s top utilities in hiring a Senior Gas Trader for their London trading division, a high-impact futures role with serious visibility and influence.
Your role & responsibilities:
- Develop your own trading book
- Leverage fundamentals, structure and optionality to drive PnL
- Work closely with analytics, origination and cross-commodity teams
Must Have:
- At least 5 years of experience trading gas markets, with exposure to Continental markets seen as a strong advantage
- A proven track record of at least 5 years of profitable active proprietary trading
- Knowledge of EU market fundamentals
- Strong numerical, analytical and economic background (degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or similar)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
