We’re working with a well-capitalised trading environment looking to add a Sugar Derivatives Trader to its soft commodities desk. This is a PnL-generating seat focused on building and executing strategies across global sugar markets. You’ll be trading exposure across raw sugar and white sugar, with a strong emphasis on futures, spreads, and optionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute proprietary trading strategies across global sugar markets
  • Manage risk across the curve, including calendar spreads and structure
  • Identify and trade relative value opportunities between raws and whites
  • Incorporate macro, weather, and flow-driven inputs into positioning
  • Build and maintain strong conviction around supply/demand dynamics
  • Work closely with analysts and/or physical desks where relevant

  • Strong understanding of global sugar flows (Brazil, India, Thailand, EU)
  • Experience managing risk and running PnL with autonomy
