Charles Levick have partnered with a global Energy Trading business. We have been tasked to find a highly motivated Senior Intraday Power Trader as they continue to expand their ever-growing team.
As an Intraday Power Trader, you will be responsible for prop/spec trading on European energy markets. You’ll leverage your market insights and trading expertise to execute high-frequency trades, optimize portfolios, and navigate market fluctuations to drive profitability.
Your role & responsibilities:
- Execute proprietary intraday power trades across European markets with a focus on maximizing returns and managing risks.
- Analyze market trends, news, and data to make informed trading decisions.
- Develop and refine trading strategies based on market conditions and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance trading strategies and share insights.
- Monitor and manage trading positions to ensure alignment with risk management protocols.
Must Have:
- 2+ years of experience in trading, within the CWE power markets.
- Strong understanding of European power markets and intraday trading dynamics.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Proficiency in trading platforms and financial analysis tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
