The role involves optimising battery and other flexible generation assets in intraday and balancing markets, delivering commercial performance while supporting a 24/7 trading operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute intraday trading strategies across GB and ISEM markets, focusing on battery and flexible generation assets.
- Utilise battery analytics and optimisation tools to maximise returns and manage asset-backed positions.
- Monitor markets in real-time, including weekends and night periods, to identify trading opportunities and manage exposures.
- Collaborate with the wider short-term trading team to support market-making, risk management, and optimisation activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of trading strategies, systems, and processes.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in intraday or short-term power trading in GB and/or ISEM markets.
