LOVERBOY is looking for a Visual Communication designer to work with the Creative Director across all aspects of the brand’s visual output. The role involves creating, planning, developing, and executing compelling, brand-aligned content across print, digital, and in-store experiences through graphics, photography, videography, typography, and layout.
The ideal candidate is creative, strategic and execution-driven, with a deep understanding of brand storytelling and development. They should be able to use marketing analytics and data to inform decisions while pushing creative boundaries.
- Brand & Visual Identity
- Define and uphold the brand’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Develop curated media libraries, a distinct tone of voice, and strategic content aligned with brand values.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to optimise workflows and maintain a seamless visual identity across all customer touchpoints.
- Graphic Design & Content Creation
- Design marketing materials, social media graphics, website visuals, email campaigns, and presentations.
- Produce digital and print assets, including lookbooks, press kits, advertisements, show invitations and packaging.
- Create motion graphics, GIFs, and video content for social media campaigns.
- Develop campaign visuals and key artwork for product launches and seasonal collections.
- Manage project briefs, recommend approaches, and set achievable deadlines.
- Oversee the digital asset library, including editing, selecting and distributing assets for internal and external use.
- Contribute to photography, videography, and audio production for brand content.
- Social Media & Digital Content
- Design and edit Instagram stories, TikToks, and Reels, to enhance engagement.
- Optimise digital assets for various social media platforms and website.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on influencer partnerships and content creation.
- Translate business objectives into creative concepts that align with key performance indicators (awareness, traffic, sales, etc.).
- Work closely with photographers, talent and influencers to develop creative briefs that align with LOVERBOY’s aesthetic.
- E-Commerce & Website Visuals
- Design banners, homepage visuals, and digital assets for e-commerce.
- Help design and build email marketing templates when needed.
- Maintain and enhance the website’s visual identity and design standards.
- Retail Installation & Spatial Design Ideation
- Conceptualise retail installations, pop-up experiences, and in-store displays that bring the brand’s vision to life.
- Work closely with the visual merchandising and retail teams to develop creative, immersive brand experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Marketing & Communications, or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ experience in brand identity, art direction, content strategy and social media.
- Strong knowledge of video editing, motion design, and animation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, Acrobat).
- Understanding of best practices for printing, 2D image editing, and video editing.
- Experience in high-end fashion branding is highly preferred.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to independently handle projects from inception to completion.
- Thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, fostering teamwork and innovation.
