We are recruiting for a business executive to join the sales team and step into a management role. This vacancy is ideal for an experienced Sales/ Business Executive or current Business Manager seeking to join a market‑leading automotive retailer. The team works at a fast pace, focusing on exceeding sales targets. Working alongside the GM and Sales Manager you will support the Sales Team and gain the experience and knowledge required to advance your automotive career.
Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Team in identifying the appropriate vehicle, funding and additional products based on individual customer suitability and requirements.
- Process and manage all vehicle sales documentation, including invoices, payments and finance contracts.
- Reconcile daily banking, credit card transactions and finance receipts.
- Liaise with finance companies to ensure timely submission and approval of credit applications.
- Manage vehicle sales processes within the site while achieving and exceeding sales and profit objectives.
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations, including GDPR and FCA guidelines.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month‑end closing procedures.
- Support the sales and accounting teams with administrative and clerical tasks.
- Handle customer queries related to financing and payment processing.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all financial documentation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar position and within the motor trade is essential.
- Understanding of all aspects of financial and insurance product regulations.
- Full UK driving licence; ability to drive high‑value vehicles may be required.
- Detail‑oriented, highly organised, enthusiastic and motivated to consistently achieve results.
