Charles Hurst is the largest automotive retailer in Northern Ireland, with dealerships across Belfast and beyond. Our aftersales departments are a key part of our business, looking after our customers long after they have purchased their vehicle. We are looking for Service Advisors to join our aftersales teams across the group. This role suits someone who enjoys working with people, staying organised and being at the centre of a busy department where no two days are the same.
A Service Advisor is the link between our customers and our workshop, making sure customers are looked after and kept informed while their vehicle is with us.
What The Job Actually Involves:- Booking services, MOTs and repair work for customers
- Greeting customers and discussing the work required on their vehicle
- Keeping customers updated while their vehicle is in the workshop
- Liaising with technicians and the workshop to manage vehicle progress
- Managing phone calls, online bookings and customer enquiries
- Advising customers on service plans, warranty and additional work where appropriate
- Making sure customer and vehicle records are accurate and up to date
- Good with people and easy to talk to
- Organised and able to manage a busy workload
- Professional, friendly and reliable
- Able to explain information clearly to customers
- A team player who works well with others
- Previous Service Advisor or customer service experience would be helpful but not essential
You don’t need to know everything on day one. What matters most is that you care about customers, stay organised and take responsibility for your work. If you communicate well, keep customers informed and stay on top of your workload, you will do very well in this role and can build a strong career within Charles Hurst.
