Vehicle Technician – Charles Hurst Belfast Budget Direct
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:15am – 5:00pm. Friday 8:15am – 3:45pm. Saturday 8:30am – 12:30pm.

We're recruiting a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our fantastic workshop in Belfast.
In this role you will work alongside experienced technicians, performing vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting services, and completing repairs to the highest standards.
You will report to the Aftersales Manager who will provide ongoing support.
Training and career progression opportunities include manufacturer-accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training.
Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle health checks using the latest technology.
- Conduct vehicle service in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests.
- Carry out any additional repairs once authorised by the customer.
- Perform warranty repairs as per the manufacturer's guidelines and ensure relevant write-up is completed.
- Take the customer's vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified.
- Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess: NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, motor industry experience (brand or non‑brand), and a full and valid driving licence.
Self‑motivation, teamwork, ambition, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work to and maintain the highest standards for all vehicles that enter the workshop are required.
