We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a Children in Need Team.

Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the children and their families to understand the support that they need to live safely and happily.
  • Create plans for the children and the families, and review every 12 weeks.
  • Visit the children at their homes every 6 weeks to help and support the children's needs and their families.
  • Attend IPCP meeting sessions.

About you

  • A degree within Social Work (Degree, DipSW, CQSW) with a minimum of 2 years' experience to be deemed suitable for this role.
  • The ability to complete court work and protect the children is essential in this role.
  • Extensive assessment work, long term work and CP experience is part of the role.
  • A valid clean driving license and car is important.
