We're looking for a highly motivated Registered Manager in Tiverton to lead a children's residential service and ensure excellent outcomes for young people.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who combines strong management skills with a genuine passion for improving children's lives.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the effective operation of the service.

You'll:

  • Lead, motivate and develop the staff team

  • Ensure high standards of care are consistently maintained

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Lead safeguarding and child protection practices

  • Monitor care planning and outcomes

  • Manage staff recruitment, supervision and development

  • Oversee incidents and complaints

  • Work closely with families and professionals

  • Prepare for and manage inspections

  • Drive continuous improvement

  • Ensure young people's voices and needs remain at the centre of the service

About You

We're looking for an experienced manager with:

  • Previous Registered Manager experience or significant Deputy Manager experience

  • Strong knowledge of children's residential care

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

  • A strong understanding of safeguarding

  • Experience working within a regulated environment

  • The ability to manage and develop a team

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

  • A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people

Salary

From Β£53,000 per annum
