We are recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to join a high-quality supported living service for adults with learning disabilities and autism in Blackpool. This is a key leadership role focused on delivering person-centred, responsive support while ensuring the service operates to a high standard.

About the role as a Team Leader:

  • Support the Registered/Service Manager with the day-to-day operational management of the service.
  • Lead staff teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred support that enables individuals to live fulfilling, independent, and valued lives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the operational management of a supported living service.
  • Ensuring support is responsive to the needs, preferences, and aspirations of individuals and their families.
  • Leading and coaching staff to build warm, respectful, and trusting relationships.
  • Promoting choice, independence, dignity, and community inclusion.
  • Supporting individuals to access social, leisure, educational, and work opportunities.
  • Encouraging involvement of families and natural support networks in line with individual preferences.
  • Supporting staff to deliver strengths-based, person-centred approaches.

About you as a Team Leader:

  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
  • Previous experience in a senior support worker or team leader role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly in line with service needs.
  • A values-driven, person-centred approach.

Hours of Work and Pay:

  • Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week.
  • Worked flexibly on a rota, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Pay rate: up to Β£14.45 per hour, depending on experience.
