We are looking for a Children’s Social Worker to join a Children with Disabilities Team. This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the team:

  • This team works with children that may have physical or learning disabilities.
  • This team will also work in partnership with the families to ensure that the child lives safely and happily.
  • This team will have responsibilities to create care plans for the children, undertake legislative assessments and review cases.
  • In this role the team will attend IPCP meeting sessions.

About you:

  • The successful candidate will be proactive and hardworking as well as have prior experience working within frontline children social work teams such as CWD, CIN, CP.
  • A degree within Social Work (Degree, DipSW, CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience is required to be deemed suitable for this role.
  • A valid UK driving licence is also required for this role.
