My client is currently seeking experienced and compassionate Adult Support Workers to join their dedicated team in Castle Cary, supporting young adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and empowering people to live more independent and fulfilling lives.

As an Adult Support Worker, you will provide tailored day-to-day support to young adults, helping to promote wellbeing, independence, and positive outcomes within a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting young adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and social engagement
- Assisting individuals to attend appointments, activities, and community outings
- Managing behaviours that may challenge in a calm, professional, and safe manner
- Following care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting concerns appropriately
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals
- Previous experience supporting individuals with complex needs is essential
