We are looking for a Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Service. This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience in frontline and assessment work.

About the team:

  • The team makes decisions and performs statutory functions to ensure the correct outcomes for children and their families are achieved.
  • They work with children from various services, such as CIN (Children in Need), CP (Child Protection), and some children are also in LAC (Looked After Children).
  • Experience with LAC is desirable but not essential.

About you:

  • Knowledge and experience working within a fast-paced frontline team, such as child protection and referral and assessment, are essential.
  • You should hold a degree in Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and have at least 3 years post-qualifying experience.
  • You must have a Social Work England registration and access to your own vehicle.
