We are looking for a Locum Social Worker to complete SGO assessments in the West Midlands
This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contracts.
About the team
This team works to assess and support Foster Carers, special guardians and kinship carers to ensure they have all resources necessary to offer a safe and successful placements to vulnerable children. The team works very closely with each carer to ensure they are well equipped to take on the responsibility of caring for a child or young person and in turn, setting them up for successful placements. The team pride themselves on the high quality and thorough report writing they produce.
About you
The successful candidate will be proactive, hardworking and have extensive experience in a fostering setting. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years\β post qualification experience is essential for this role (a completed ASYE is counted as one completed year). A valid UK driving licence and car is essential to be considered for this role.
