An Independent Fostering Agency is looking for a Fostering Team Manager for their fostering service that covers North East Region. This is a permanent and full-time position that is hybrid working.
You must have a Diploma/Degree in Social Work and have the right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship available)

About the job
- Lead, supervise, and support fostering social workers and staff.
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and safeguarding of children in foster care.
- Oversee the recruitment, assessment, approval, and retention of foster carers. Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to foster carers.
- Manage complex fostering cases and placement decisions.
- Ensure compliance with fostering regulations, legislation, and policies.
- Monitor service quality, performance, and outcomes for children. Conduct audits, reviews, and implement service improvements.
- Work collaboratively with local authorities and partner agencies.
- Manage team workloads, performance, and professional development.
- Contribute to budget management and resource planning.
- Support strategic planning and the development of fostering services.
About you
The successful candidate will have a social work degree with post qualification experience in Fostering.
