We are looking for a Social Worker for a Children Referral and Assessment Team. Only apply if you have a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.
About the Team
This team is responsible for receiving and reviewing new referrals, assessing the needs and risks of children and families, and deciding what support or intervention is required. They gather information from families and other agencies, carry out statutory assessments, and make timely decisions to ensure children are safe and receive appropriate services. It is important for the social workers to ensure children's voices are heard, as well as recording clear and accurate assessments, and making decisions in line with appropriate legislation.
About you
A degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' post qualified experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. A valid UK driving license and vehicle is not essential to the success of this role but will help.
