We are looking for a Team Manager to join a Children in Need team.
This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.
About the team
The team work in partnership with the children and their families to understand the support that they need to live safely and happily. Your role in the team will be to Lead, manage and motivate a staff team ensuring high quality supervision is completed regularly which includes case management oversight, timely decision making, the effective implementation and review of children\βs plans and provides the opportunity to reflect and recognise areas of practice which are good or requires improvement, and supports the ongoing learning and development of workers. The team will need to be competent in all areas of the PCF at Advanced Social Worker level and The Knowledge and Skills Statement (KSS) for practice supervisors.
About you
A degree within Social Work (Degree, DipSW, CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years\β experience is required to be deemed suitable for this role. You need to have a good understanding of what good social work practice looks like and be passionate about systemic and relational based practice models. You need to be positive, motivated and feel that their current caseload allows them complete good social work interventions with families.
