We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a Children with Disabilities Team. This role requires a Social Work qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contract/s.
About the team:
- This team works to support children with permanent disabilities and/or complex health needs who would be impaired without the access to specialist provisions, adaptations or equipment.
The day-to-day responsibilities include carrying out assessments and offering the appropriate break services to children who have and their families. The team offers a stable, permanent Team Manager and Service Manager group to support in your practice by your manager and receiving regular reflective supervision.
About you:
- A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years experience in permanent contract/s and a completed ASYE is essential in order to be considered for this role.
- Experience in working with disabled children and/or working in other frontline teams as well as building relationships with families is crucial for this position.
