We are looking for a Children\’s Social Worker to join our Family Support Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contract/s.

About the team

The team is responsible for delivering high-quality protection and intervention to the most vulnerable children in the borough who are in need of safeguarding. They manage a complex and diverse caseload — including Children with Disabilities (CWD) — and ensure that all work is carried out in a child-centred and responsive manner. This role includes providing support and guidance to colleagues, particularly around court proceedings, complex decision-making, and frontline assessments when required.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipDW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years\’ experience is essential to be considered for this role. Also, knowledge and ability to complete Section 47 and Section 17 are needed. A valid UK driving licence is essential for the success of this role.
