Overview

I am recruiting for multiple Support Workers adept in supporting young people with learning disabilities who have experienced significant trauma. This is a residential service based in Chelmsford. Successful applicants must drive.

About the Role

  • You will provide support for young people with complex needs using a person-centred approach.
  • You will have passion encouraging growth and well-being.
  • Assist with personal care when required.
  • Rolling Rota: Week A - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday / Week B - Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
  • This will be either a day contract or a Waking Night contract.
  • Support attendance at school, appointments, and activities.

About You

  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Previous experience with young people who have challenging behaviours and learning difficulties.
  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS or willing to obtain one.
  • Calm and persistent personality.
