My client are currently looking for experienced and compassionate Adult Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Castle Cary, supporting young adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, and mental health needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support and empowering individuals to live fulfilling, independent lives.

The Role
As an Adult Support Worker, you will provide tailored day-to-day support to young adults, promoting wellbeing, independence, and positive outcomes within a safe, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting young adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and social inclusion
- Supporting individuals to attend appointments, activities, and community outings
- Managing behaviours that may challenge in a calm, safe, and professional manner
- Following care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns appropriately
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals
