We are currently looking for an Adult's Social Worker to join our Initial Assessment Safeguarding team. This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.
About the team:
- This team is the first point of contact when a concern arises about an adult aged 18+ within the local community when safety and welfare are being questioned.
- The role of this team is to ensure that the referrals receive the most appropriate level of intervention required in a timely manner.
- As the first point of contact, this team plays a vital role in the progression of each allegation and case.
About you:
- It is essential to have a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years' experience within Adult's Social Work.
- Having a good understanding of safeguarding processes as well as being able to work in a team within a fast-paced environment is key for this position.
- A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is required to qualify for this role.
