We're recruiting Children's Residential Support Workers in Swindon to support children and young people within a residential care environment.
The Opportunity
You’ll help create a safe, supportive and structured home where children can develop confidence, build relationships and learn the skills they need for greater independence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day practical and emotional support.
- Helping children maintain routines and participate in activities.
- Encouraging independence, positive choices and personal development.
- Building trusting relationships and responding consistently to individual needs.
- Following care plans, safeguarding procedures and recording requirements.
Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for patient, compassionate and resilient individuals who can remain calm under pressure and understand the importance of consistency when supporting children.
Experience in children’s residential care, SEN, education or youth support would be beneficial.
Earn £30,000-£31,000 per annum while doing meaningful work.
£24,482-25,162 per annum (Band B), plus an additional £7865 for completing contracted sleep shifts. Bank is £13.45 per hour
