We are looking for a Social Worker to join a Children in Care Team. This role requires a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in a permanent contract.
About the Team
This team involves working with children in care to support and protect them through their journey through CIC proceedings. Responsibilities in the team include creating and reviewing care plans and ensuring direct work with each child in order to ensure they are settled, can make sense of the changes in care and aid in their recovery from experiences prior to this. The team also deals with court proceedings.
About You
A degree qualified Social Worker (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' experience working with children, young people and their families. You would be familiar with permanency planning as well as court and care proceedings. You'll have the ability to deal with complex case work and regular supervisions.
