We are looking for dedicated

Residential Support Workers to join a supportive children's residential service in

Exeter.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people while developing a rewarding career in children's residential care.

You will:

• Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
• Support children with their daily routines and activities
• Encourage independence, confidence and personal development
• Provide emotional and practical support
• Support education, hobbies and community activities
• Work as part of a dedicated care team
• Follow individual care plans and safeguarding procedures
• Complete appropriate records and reports

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for working with children and young people
• A caring, patient and resilient approach
• The ability to remain calm in challenging situations
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• The ability to work shifts, including sleep-ins
• Previous experience in children's residential care, support work, education, youth work or a similar environment would be advantageous.
