Job Role: Learning support assistant or cover supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs within the classroom, in small groups or individually.
- Assist with teaching tasks under the direction of teaching staff.
- Support proactive learning during break and lunch, and undertake additional separately paid duties when required.
Work full-time 36 hours per week, 8:00‑4:00 Monday‑Friday, term time only (38 weeks per year).
Undergo a full enhanced DBS check and retain eligibility to work in the UK.
Qualifications:
- Good English and maths (GCSE equivalent grade C or above).
- Confidence working with IT.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly ASD and ADHD, is an advantage.
- Knowledge or training in SEND is beneficial (not essential).
