Job Description – Concession – Retail Assistant

Established as a family run shop in 1924, the Clinkard Group has now grown to be one of the largest Independent Footwear Retailer in the UK.

We are looking to recruit three Part -Time Retail Assistants to work in our Concession within Goulds, Dorchester .The vacancy is for 8 hours over 2 days per week, the role will include weekend work .You should have a flexible approach to working hours and applicants must be willing to work overtime as required. Hours are suit the needs of the business.

Duties for Retail Assistants will include:·

• Approaching customers to ensure they are dealt with efficiently, courteously and promptly as possible·
• Assisting Customers to make their choice of footwear, matching their needs and guiding them with product knowledge.·
• Deliver an excellent level of customer service at all times.·
• Replenishment of stock on display along with receiving and checking stock deliveries.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:·

• Proven experience as a Retail Assistant is essential and in footwear an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate confidently and clearly with customers at all time·
• Present a professional, positive and welcoming image to customers.

Full training and uniform is provided

Rate of Pay £10.95 Age 18-20

£12.80 Age 21+

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to £12.80 per hour
