The Role
We’re looking for a QA Tester to ensure the websites we deliver meet the highest standards for quality, functionality, and user experience. You’ll play a key role in testing our clients’ Shopify websites before launch, focusing on front-end quality assurance — checking builds across browsers and devices, flagging issues, and collaborating with developers to deliver flawless results.
Responsibilities
- Review Shopify website builds against design and functional requirements.
- Perform manual front-end testing across browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
- Flag layout, responsiveness, and UX issues to the development team.
- Test Shopify functionality: navigation, checkout, forms, and integrations.
- Re-test bug fixes and verify resolutions before release.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure pixel-perfect execution.
- Maintain clear, structured QA documentation and test cases.
Requirements
- Experience testing websites or digital projects (agency or eCommerce experience a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach. You should have an eye for design.
- Ability to spot inconsistencies, usability issues, and broken functionality.
- Familiarity with Shopify or other CMS/eCommerce platforms preferred.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
