Who We Are
Charle was formed to revolutionise direct-to-consumer strategies by blending creative design with world-class Shopify technology. We partner with ambitious brands, from global leaders to fast-scaling startups, to build and grow ecommerce stores that engage, convert, and inspire. Our work goes beyond store builds. We form long-term growth partnerships across CRO, design, development, and strategic optimisation. We exist to unlock the full growth potential of every merchant we work with. As we scale, how we show up in the market β through our events, content, and partner ecosystem β is central to that mission.
The Role
We are hiring a Marketing & Partnerships Manager to run Charle's marketing engine and build the partner ecosystem that amplifies it. This is primarily a marketing execution role. You will own the day-to-day running of our marketing plan β campaigns, content, events, webinars, and channel monitoring β making sure everything ships on time and to a high standard. Marketing strategy is owned by the CEO. Your job is to take that direction and run it, sprint after sprint, campaign after campaign. Alongside this, you will own Charle's partner relationships. Many of our biggest marketing moments β webinars, sponsored events, co-branded content β happen with partners, so the marketing and partnerships sides of this role feed each other directly. You will manage relationships with Shopify, our tech partners (Klaviyo, Gorgias, and others), and adjacent agencies, turning those relationships into joint marketing activity and mutual lead sharing. This is not a sales seat, but you will be commercially accountable for the pipeline that marketing and partners influence. This role sits at the intersection of marketing execution, partner relationships, and event delivery. You will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to make Charle one of the most recognised Shopify agencies in the UK.
What You Will Own
- Marketing Execution (Primary Focus)
- The CEO sets marketing strategy. You make it happen. The remit covers:
- End-to-end management of events, from concept through delivery and follow-up
- Running and organising webinars alongside our partners, owning everything from speaker booking to promotion and follow-up
- Executing the campaigns, content, and initiatives the CEO defines, on time and to a high standard
- Owning agency-wide messaging across new business pushes so every channel tells one coherent story
- Monitoring performance across digital channels, site traffic, and paid where relevant, and turning data into clear actions
- Feeding learnings from campaigns into the team that owns on-site CRO
- Coordinating with internal contributors (design, content, leadership) to keep the marketing engine moving
- Reporting back to the CEO on what's working, what isn't, and what to do about it
- Events and Webinars
- Own Charle's events calendar end-to-end β both the events we attend and the ones we run
- Plan, brief, and deliver Charle-hosted events, from intimate partner dinners through to larger merchant-facing moments
- Run webinars with partners as a recurring channel, owning logistics, promotion, and conversion follow-up
- Negotiate and secure sponsorship deals with partners to fund and amplify activity
- Represent Charle at industry events when relevant
- Partnerships (Secondary Focus)
- Build and own Charle's direct relationship with Shopify β Partner Managers, agency programmes, and co-marketing opportunities
- Develop and manage relationships across the Shopify tech ecosystem (Klaviyo, Gorgias, and other key app partners)
- Identify and form relationships with adjacent, non-competing agencies (brand, paid media, content) where mutual referrals make sense
- Maintain a partner CRM with clear plans, cadences, and ownership across every relationship
- Bring partner intelligence back into the agency β what's launching, what's hot, and where the opportunities are
- Partner-Led Pipeline
- Set up mutual lead sharing arrangements with partners so Charle is top of mind when they have a relevant merchant opportunity
- Track referrals in and out, and report on partner-influenced pipeline alongside the sales team
- Work closely with sales and senior leadership to ensure partner-sourced leads are handled cleanly and converted well
Who We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of marketing experience within a digital agency, SaaS, or ecommerce environment
- Strong marketing execution skills across events, content, campaigns, and digital channels
- Familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem, or a strong appetite to get deep into it fast
- Experience planning and running events, from intimate dinners and webinars through to larger industry moments
- Confident relationship builder, comfortable representing the business externally with partners and at events
- Organised and self-directed β able to take direction from the CEO and turn it into a delivery plan without close supervision
- Commercially aware β understands that marketing and partnerships exist to drive pipeline and reputation, not vanity metrics
- Strong written communicator β can brief campaigns, write partner pitches, and represent the brand cleanly
- Comfortable in a fast-growing, ambitious agency environment
- Familiarity with marketing and CRM tools such as HubSpot, Notion, Mailchimp, or similar
You are organised, driven, and naturally good at building relationships. You see marketing as a craft, not a checklist. You enjoy being in the room as much as you enjoy running the plan that gets you there. You don't need a strategy handed to you with every detail spelled out β you take direction and run with it.
Why Join Charle
- Work alongside ambitious ecommerce brands and the best partners in the Shopify ecosystem
- Own marketing execution and partnerships within a scaling agency
- Hybrid working β 2 days a week in our London office, flexible days
- Private healthcare
- Creative, driven, and ambitious team environment
- Regular team socials and company events
- Clear progression as the agency scales
