CharityJob is supporting The Creighton Centre, a long-established charity working to reduce loneliness and isolation across Hammersmith & Fulham and the surrounding area, to recruit a Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser. Fulham, West London (hybrid working with flexible hours) at least 1 day a week in office. The Creighton Centre is a charity that has been supporting its local community for almost 120 years. Our mission is to reduce loneliness and isolation by providing services that help people stay connected, independent and well. We work primarily with older people, adults with learning disabilities, people with disabilities and families with young children, helping to improve lives and strengthen connections across our community. We are seeking an experienced fundraiser to lead our established and successful trusts and foundations fundraising programme, while working closely with the CEO to support capital fundraising and develop new income opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong track record in trusts and foundations fundraising who enjoys taking ownership of the full fundraising process, from researching prospective funders and developing compelling applications to managing relationships and reporting on impact. Working within a small and friendly team, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the charity’s sustainability and future development. Alongside our established fundraising activity, you will also help explore opportunities to develop corporate support, individual giving and legacies, working collaboratively with colleagues to broaden our income streams. Lead and develop fundraising from trusts, foundations and other grant-making bodies, including securing funding for capital projects. Develop compelling applications, proposals and cases for support, working with colleagues to gather project information, budgets and evidence of impact. Work closely with the CEO to support capital fundraising and identify opportunities to secure significant funding for the charity’s work. Contribute to the development of additional fundraising income streams, including corporate partnerships, individual giving and legacies. Work collaboratively with the wider team to communicate the charity’s impact and develop strong, persuasive funding propositions. A strong track record of successful trusts and foundations fundraising, including securing significant grants. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce compelling and persuasive funding applications and proposals. Experience of building effective relationships with funders and managing the fundraising process from initial research through to grant reporting. A self-motivated and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of fundraising activity. A collaborative approach and a willingness to contribute to wider fundraising initiatives beyond trusts and foundations. A genuine interest in supporting a community-focused charity working to reduce loneliness and isolation and improve people’s lives.
