We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic qualified nurses who would welcome the challenge of working in a specialist area looking after patients who present with a multitude of medical management needs covering cardiovascular, endocrinology, oncology and gastro and possess the necessary skills to effectively care for a group of patients with complex needs. We are also specialists in the management of Parkinson's patients. The successful applicant will need to be able to work autonomously, and in addition provide a positive contribution to the multidisciplinary team. As a motivated, enthusiastic nurse, with good communication skills you will have the opportunity to extend those skills with a range of learning opportunities provided by the trust.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive nursing records, using appropriate documentation and IT systems; ensuring adherence to NMC guidelines.
  • Support the implementation and evaluation of quality initiatives at ward level.
  • Ensure that nursing practice reflects current clinical developments and is based on current evidence based practice and accurately reflects the wards philosophy.
