The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are looking for midwives ready for this challenging but rewarding leadership role, who are keen to further develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive environment. With many opportunities on the horizon at CDDFT, it is an exciting time to be a part of our Maternity family!

We have excellent Patient Safety Midwives who are committed to quality and improvement, with whom you will have a close working relationship. Our Matron Team is growing and changing, and we are excited to look for new leaders to join our well-established team and add to the changing dynamics of our service. We are certain there is a role you will enjoy at CDDFT Maternity.

The post holder will be responsible for the smooth and safe running of the maternity ward and will take overall charge not only of the ward but also of the postnatal and pregnancy assessment unit if required. The post holder will have some responsibility for a group of band 5 and 6 midwives for appraisal and development, and be involved in the development of services, dealing with complaints, and engaging in multidisciplinary team working across the Trust.
