Reading Almshouse Charity is seeking new Trustees to join its dedicated Board and help shape the future of a long-established charity providing affordable homes and supportive communities for adults across Reading and Earley.
With roots dating back to the 19th century, Reading Almshouse Charity currently supports over 100 residents across three sites, offering safe, affordable accommodation for people able to live independently. Guided by their ethos of Housing with Heart, the charity is passionate about dignity, community, and creating lasting positive impact.
This is an exciting time to join the organisation as the Board continues to modernise, strengthen governance, and shape the future direction of the charity.
Previous Trustee experience is not essential - enthusiasm, commitment, and a genuine interest in supporting the charity's mission are equally important.
