This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected youth charity as Communications Manager, leading the delivery of digital communications across the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Communications and Policy and sitting within the Fundraising and Communications Directorate, you will play a key role in raising the charity's profile, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring impactful stories reach the right audiences.

Charity People are looking for a hands-on communications professional who enjoys combining strategic thinking with practical delivery. You will lead the planning and management of digital communications, take ownership of the social media calendar, and ensure content is aligned with organisational priorities, campaigns, and key activities throughout the year. Working closely with colleagues across the charity, you will uncover and develop compelling stories that showcase the impact of programmes and initiatives, helping to build engagement across a range of audiences.

The role will involve creating and commissioning high-quality content for social media, websites, email campaigns, newsletters, blogs, case studies, photography, and video projects. You will support communications activity linked to campaigns, events, policy, and public affairs work, while ensuring all channels remain active, engaging, and audience focused. Using insight, analytics, and performance data, you will continually evaluate and improve communications activity, helping to maximise reach and impact.

The successful candidate will have experience managing website content and structure through a CMS, ideally WordPress, alongside strong knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp. You will be confident planning, scheduling, and managing social media channels, particularly LinkedIn and Instagram, with a clear understanding of how to grow engagement and develop content that resonates with different audiences. Exceptional writing and storytelling skills are essential, together with the ability to adapt content for multiple channels and purposes.

This role requires a proactive and organised communicator who can quickly get up to speed, take ownership of projects, and provide reliable support to the Head of Communications. You will be comfortable leading on campaigns, coordinating content plans with delivery teams, managing competing priorities, and ensuring communications activity continues to move forward at pace across the organisation.

If you are a creative and driven communications professional looking to make a genuine difference through your work, this is an opportunity to join a passionate team dedicated to improving the lives of young people.

Please apply without delay. This role closes on Monday 27th July.
