Charity People are delighted to be working with an independent, self-funding charity for a Grade I listed Queen Anne home in Hampstead Village, renowned as a centre for arts, heritage, and community engagement. Since 1979, they have welcomed thousands of visitors each year to enjoy exhibitions, concerts, talks, and private celebrations in a unique historic setting. They have a strong reputation for creativity and resilience. They are now seeking an experienced and visionary Director to lead the charity into its next chapter, combining cultural ambition with sound commercial management.

The Role

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision and business plan.
  • Oversee a high-quality programme of art, music, heritage, and community events.
  • Drive income generation through venue hire, fundraising, and partnerships.
  • Lead and motivate a skilled team of staff and volunteers.

Essential

  • Senior leadership experience in a museum, heritage site, arts organisation, or similar charity.
