Charity People are seeking a detail-oriented Data Specialist to join a charity’s Database Team for three months. This is a remote role, with hybrid working options available if preferred. The successful candidate will report to the Database Team Lead and play a key role in maintaining the integrity and usability of data within MS Dynamics CRM system.
The Data Specialist will support the accuracy and reliability of data in Microsoft Dynamics 365. This includes cleansing and validating data from third-party sources, managing data imports, and monitoring system integrations. The role will also involve resolving data related issues and collaborating with internal teams to support data driven initiatives. Experience of SQL is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and clean incoming data to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Apply validation checks to meet required data standards
- Prepare and execute data imports into Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Monitor integration messages and address any anomalies
- Investigate and resolve data-related issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain clear documentation of data processes and procedures
- Work closely with the Data Team, IT, and business stakeholders
Skills
Essential:
- Experience in data cleansing, validation, and import processes
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly data management and integration
- Familiarity with data integration tools and message tracking within Dynamics 365
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Desirable:
- Experience with SQL or other database query languages
- Understanding of data governance and GDPR compliance
- Previous experience in a charity or non-profit environment
Candidates will bring experience of MS Dynamics 365, as experience of this is integral to this short-term role.
