Allkind is a London-based mental health charity supporting people across the full mental health spectrum, from early intervention through to complex needs. Following a merger in December 2024, the organisation launched as Allkind in April 2026, bringing together decades of experience and a shared commitment to delivering compassionate, accessible support. About the role
This is a key role within the People Team, working closely with the Head of People and wider People & OD function to strengthen HR operations across the organisation. You will act as a trusted advisor to leadership while championing a positive employee experience, ensuring the organisation attracts, retains and develops talented staff. This is a varied role, combining operational HR delivery with opportunities to contribute to organisational development and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and induction processes
- Manage employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance processes
- Support performance management, appraisal cycles and probation reviews
- Provide advice and coaching to managers on HR matters and best practice
- Lead on HR data, reporting and analytics to inform decision-making
- Support organisational change processes, including restructures and TUPE
- Maintain and update HR policies in line with employment legislation
- Oversee HR systems, ensuring data integrity and effective usage
- Support benefits administration and payroll processes
- Contribute to EDI, wellbeing and organisational development initiatives
- Line manage and develop junior People Team members
You will have
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) and strong HR generalist experience
- Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Experience managing employee relations cases and advising managers
- Confident overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Experience using HR systems and data to inform decision-making
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong initiative
- Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion
- Experience in the charity, health or social care sector (desirable)
