Recruitment Manager – Finance at Charity People

Charity People are working with a £10million turnover NGO to help recruit an Interim Financial Controller for 3-6 months based in East London.

The organisation working week is 4 days a week offering salary of £62,539 for four days per week.

My client is looking for the right candidate to start early June 2025.

Salary: £62,539 for four days per week

Must be: very strong on Charity SORP and statutory accounts

Led on system upgrade or implementation

Hybrid: Going to East London twice a week

Key priorities for this role are;

  • Completion of annual accounts and audit (my client is in final stages of annual audit)
  • Coordinate Financial system upgrade (managing and working closely with the Project Manager to lead on financial system upgrade). The interim Financial Controller will manage project manager. It is six months project just started and the finance system has already been selected.
  • Lead of payments, Accounts payable and receivable team. One of the team members is relatively new.
  • Follow up on some audit findings.

This role will close on 4th June, 2025.
