Location: Finchley (Office‑based Monday–Thursday, working from home on Fridays)

Charity People are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a faith‑based charity, dedicated to strengthening communities, supporting inclusive values, and nurturing future generations. This organisation champions compassion, integrity and respect, and is seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to CEO.

The Role

As Executive Assistant to CEO, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of their office. You will act as a trusted first point of contact, managing complex diaries, coordinating internal and external engagements, preparing key documents, and ensuring governance processes run seamlessly. You will also support wider organisational administration, helping maintain effective communication across teams, board members, volunteers and community stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing busy and dynamic diaries, travel logistics and meeting schedules
  • Acting as the first point of contact for internal/external enquiries
  • Preparing briefings, correspondence, presentations and reports
  • Supporting governance processes including preparing board papers, agendas and minutes
  • Coordinating community visits, events and senior‑level engagements
  • Maintaining accurate records, systems and templates from CEO office
  • Supporting routine administration including expenses, travel and documentation
  • Assisting with community database updates and general organisational coordination

About You

We’re looking for an experienced, confident and highly organised EA who can handle competing priorities with professionalism and calm. You will bring:

  • Proven experience as a PA/EA supporting senior leaders in a busy environment
  • Strong diary and workflow management skills
  • High levels of emotional intelligence, discretion and professionalism
  • The ability to build positive relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Alignment with — or a willingness to learn about — the ethos and values of a faith‑based organisation
  • Experience within a charity, faith‑based, or membership organisation is desirable.

Working Arrangements

This role is office‑based Monday to Thursday, with Friday worked from home.
