Every day, our dedicated teams support people experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives through outreach, accommodation, tenancy support and person-centred services. We're looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our People Team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service while supporting managers, leading on complex employee relations cases and contributing to strategic HR projects across the organisation. **About the Role** Reporting to the HR Director, you'll be the trusted HR partner for managers across the organisation, providing practical, commercially focused and legally compliant HR advice throughout the employee lifecycle. Working within a small, collaborative HR team, you'll influence good people management practices, lead on complex employee relations matters, contribute to organisational change projects and help continuously improve our HR policies, processes and services. You'll also deputise for the HR Director where appropriate. **Key Responsibilities** As our Senior HR Advisor, you will: - Provide expert advice and coaching to managers on all aspects of employee relations - Independently manage complex disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance, absence and probation cases - Support managers with long-term sickness absence, Occupational Health referrals and reasonable adjustments - Develop and review HR policies and ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice - Support recruitment activity and provide advice on recruitment and employment matters - Deliver HR-related training and coaching to managers - Support organisational change, restructures, consultations and HR projects - Produce HR reports and workforce data to inform decision-making - Work collaboratively across the HR team to deliver an excellent people service **About You** We're looking for someone who is: - CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience) - An experienced HR generalist with strong employee relations expertise - Confident managing complex HR cases independently - Knowledgeable in UK employment law and HR best practice - Skilled at coaching, influencing and building credibility with managers - Organised, analytical and able to manage competing priorities. - Passionate about delivering a professional, people-focused HR service Experience within the charity, housing, homelessness or social care sectors would be an advantage but is not essential. **Why Join SPEAR?** At SPEAR, you'll become part of a passionate organisation making a genuine difference to people's lives.
