Contract: Permanent, full time, 35 hours per week

Location: London based with hybrid working (minimum 2 days a week in the office)

Do you have the skills and experience to manage and grow a portfolio of high-profile clients? We are looking for a talented Corporate Client Adviser to join our Corporate Client Team at the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).

What you will do

At CAF, every one of us contributes to our impact, and as our Corporate Client Adviser you too will play an integral part in what we do. This will be achieved through managing relationships with our corporate clients featuring over half of the FTSE 100 and well-known international brands, advising them on their corporate and employee giving programmes. In addition, it is essential to grow and develop a new pipeline of clients to add to your portfolio.

As our Corporate Client Adviser your remit will cover:

  • Client Management: managing the corporate giving programmes of a designated client portfolio, maintaining and growing donations and fees across the corporate giving product suite (including Give As You Earn (payroll giving), corporate giving and foundations, and advisory)
  • Contribution Growth: driving new growth from new client relationships, through the introduction of CAF products and service as well as working with associated teams (e.g. Impact Accelerator and Business Development) to implement new campaigns and initiatives to drive new acquisition.
  • Sector expertise: developing deep knowledge of corporate responsibility and giving trends relating to industry sectors and companies including event attendance, reading relevant material and training. Keep up to date on developments and actively apply these into advice led approach, business development and client support
  • Team: contributing to and being part of a strong team culture committed to individual leadership, accountability, collaboration, flexibility, and motivation to succeed

Who we are looking for

This role is for you if you have experience of working in with large-scale corporates and possess solid account management and business development skills or have relevant transferable skills and are keen to make a difference to society. We are looking for:

  • Strong business development and account management expertise
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and developing corporate client relationships, particularly within the Legal and Professional Services sectors.
  • Knowledge of giving, employee engagement and corporate responsibility
  • Effective stakeholder management at all levels
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills as well as excellent verbal, presentation, and written communications to all levels
  • Able to work independently and in a collaborative environment
