Contract: Up to 18 months Fixed term contract, full time, 35 hours per week

Location: Kings Hill based with hybrid working (2-4 days per week in the Kings Hill Office)

Are you an experienced finance change leader with a passion for transforming finance systems, data and management information? We're looking for a talented Head of Finance Change to join our Finance team at CAF Bank, part of Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).

What you'll do

At CAF Bank, every one of us contributes to our impact, and as our Head of Finance Change you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our finance function and supporting the delivery of the Bank's strategic objectives. You will lead the planning, management and delivery of a significant programme of finance change. The role will ensure the successful implementation of key finance systems, management information capabilities and reporting solutions that support effective decision-making and governance.

As our Head of Finance Change you will:

  • Lead the delivery of the Finance change agenda across systems, reporting and process improvement initiatives
  • Manage the implementation of a new Sage General Ledger and associated system interfaces
  • Deliver strategic projects including lending migration, regulatory reporting and treasury system enhancements
  • Coordinate testing, implementation and stakeholder engagement across finance change programmes
  • Develop and enhance management information and data analytics capabilities across the Finance function
  • Oversee finance ownership of critical spreadsheet controls and role-based access governance processes

Who we are looking for

This role is for you if you have substantial experience in finance systems, finance transformation, management information or treasury-related change programmes and want to make a meaningful impact within CAF. We are looking for:

  • Experience delivering finance systems and change projects within a regulated financial services environment
  • Strong knowledge of finance reporting, treasury systems and management information development
  • Knowledge of general ledger implementation projects and integration with upstream transaction processing systems
  • Expertise in data analysis, data mining and translating business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience working with senior and executive stakeholders on strategic technology initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to varied audiences.
